The Adeptus Mechanicus employs a bewildering array of bizarre war machines, from long-legged walkers to hovering tanks. These assets support the Skitarii legions with heavy firepower and add tactical tools to wage war efficiently.
Unleash the Fury of the Omnissiah
This boxed set is ideal for starting a new Adeptus Mechanicus collection – or expanding an existing army – to unleash in games of Warhammer 40,000, and save money compared to buying the kits separately. You'll find 3 potent war machines in the box, including an Onager Dunecrawler, a walking tank that can be equipped for a variety of battlefield roles. For speed, you'll find an Ironstrider Ballistarius, and rounding out this force is a Skorpius Disintegrator. These vital units will enhance any Adeptus Mechanicus collection. They are ideal for representing an Eradication Cohort Detachment – the rules for which are found in Eye of Terror: Reign of Iron – Detachments, available separately, and on the Warhammer Community website.
This boxed set builds 3 multipart plastic Adeptus Mechanicus miniatures:
– 1 Onager Dunecrawler
– 1 Skorpius Disintegrator (which can alternatively be built as a Skorpius Dunerider)
– 1 Ironstrider Ballistarius (which can alternatively be built as a Sydonian Dragoon)
The miniatures in this box are easy to customise. The Onager Dunecrawler can be equipped with an eradication beamer, a twin Onager heavy phosphor blaster, a neutron laser featuring a coaxial cognis heavy stubber, or an Icarus array. There are also a host of optional cosmetic accessories, including searchlights, a gunner, smoke launchers, and manipulating tools.
The Skorpius Disintegrator can be armed with either a ferrumite cannon or a belleros energy cannon. One of its hatches can be assembled closed or open with a crew member. Alternatively, the kit can be assembled as a Skorpius Dunerider, which sacrifices turret firepower for transport capacity.
The Ironstrider Ballistarius can be armed with either a twin cognis autocannon or a twin cognis lascannon. There are two poses for the legs, and the rider has a choice of 4 heads. Alternatively, it can be assembled as a Sydonian Dragoon, armed with either a taser lance or radium jezzail.
